.....Checking out a little more history...The old spotlight room is well hidden high up. From the looks of the plastered walls, it looks like every lighting tech who worked there over the years signed his name and the date.
....Most are in pencil; some were written boldly using the spent carbon-rods from the old arc lights (you can see a few laying on the worktable)
....The background image used on this page is of that interesting graffiti. Most have dates from the 1930's through the late 50's. There are notes detailing workmens names, and the amounts paid for their day-labor; and lists of the order in which acts would appear.
